Have you ever wondered how you can contribute to the caregiving ministry of the church? Do you talk yourself out of it because of feelings of being ill-equipped or out of your comfort zone?
If you answered "yes" to either of the questions above, or if you are interested in furthering your education in the area of lay ministry, please join us!
This evening will be informative. Robert Tomes, York Hospital Chaplain and Visitation Pastor at First Assembly of God will discuss hospital and home visitation of the sick and shut-in as well as other scenarios.
Marie Roach will discuss helpful ways to deal with the process of dying and how we can be a comfort to those left behind to grieve.
All are welcome to attend, and refreshments will be served.
