The Promise Players' spring production is the delightfully staged musical, High Cotton, written by Dennis and Dan Allen. Set in 1929, the roaring twenties were a simpler time, complicated by prohibition and the threat of the stock market crash. It involves the members of a church and its surrounding small-town community. The music is reflective of the style of the era. It is catchy and lends itself to a variety of ages, from ten to one hundred and ten.
A suggested minimum donation of $9 for adults and $2 for children 12 years and under is payable at the door, or children may donate a canned good for
local food banks.
Baby-sitting will be available for our younger fans.
