Christopher Shelly
Senior PastorChris grew up in a small town north of Lancaster where he developed an appreciation for the outdoors and a strong work ethic. In his teens, he came to know, love and serve Jesus, who is his Lord and Savior. After high school, Chris earned a Bachelor's of Science in Bible and a Bachelor's of Music Education at Cairn University while serving as a Youth Minister in the Philadelphia suburbs. In 2010, Chris married his high school sweetheart, Janelle, and in 2011, they answered the call to minister to the youth here at Lampeter and became a part of this awesome family. In 2019, Chris earned his Masters of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary and also responded to the call to lead Lampeter into a new Christ-centered, chapter of life.
They have been graced with four wonderful children - Marissa, Josiah, Elias, and Andrew

Elliot A. Ramírez Ochoa
Youth/Associate Pastor
Elliot Ramírez is our Youth/Associate Pastor and he is excited to serve our church family. Elliot has a genuine passion for helping guide young people in their faith journey. In February 2025, he and his wife were blessed to welcome their first child. When Elliot is not at church he enjoys watching and playing sports, spending time with family, and visiting new places.

Micki Bohannon
Director of Children's Ministries
Micki Bohannon is the Director of Children’s Ministry. She has attended Lampeter Church of the Brethren since she was born. Before joining the staff, Micki served on the Children’s Ministry Team and the Preschool Committee. She is also a substitute teacher in many of the Lancaster County School Districts. Micki loves teaching the young children of our congregation about the love of Christ.

Anneliz Rosario
Administrative Associate
Anneliz Rosario is our Administrative Associate and she serves Ebenezer Church as their secretary. She volunteers with Ebenezer's youth group and their worship team. Although she gave her life to Christ at a young age, it was during a missions trip to Nigeria in 2016 that Anneliz truly came to understand what it means to follow Jesus. She has a heart for helping others and serving the community, and she is grateful for the opportunity to do so through the church. Anneliz graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2024, and in February 2025, she and her husband were blessed to welcome their first child—a beautiful baby girl. When Anneliz is not at church or chasing baby giggles, she enjoys quiet moments with coffee, visiting new places, being outdoors and spending time with loved ones.

Toni Phillips
Secretary
Toni Phillips joined our staff in March as our secretary. Toni and her family have attended Lampeter Church of the Brethren for the past 20 years. Prior to joining the staff, Toni worked as a bank teller and in various other customer service positions. Toni serves on Worship Team and, along with her husband Jeff, as a greeter. Toni looks forward to greeting you with a smile and friendly hello when you call or stop into the church office! Her heart's desire is to serve Jesus by serving you!

Sue Ringer
Custodian
Sue enjoys keeping Lampeter COB clean and tidy. She also works as a teacher's assistant in the Lampeter Community Preschool. Sue has been a member our church since 2013. She serves as a member of the Children's Ministry Team, and is a vital part of our Giving Garden ministry. Sue and her family live in Lancaster.
