  • Christopher Shelly
    Senior Pastor

Chris grew up in a small town north of Lancaster where he developed an appreciation for the outdoors and a strong work ethic.  In his teens, he came to know, love and serve Jesus, who is his Lord and Savior.  After high school, Chris earned a Bachelor's of Science in Bible and a Bachelor's of Music Education at Cairn University while serving as a Youth Minister in the Philadelphia suburbs. In 2010, Chris married his high school sweetheart, Janelle, and in 2011, they answered the call to minister to the youth here at Lampeter and became a part of this awesome family.  In 2019, Chris earned his Masters of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary and also responded to the call to lead Lampeter into a new Christ-centered, chapter of life.

They have been graced with three wonderful children - Marissa, Josiah, and Elias.
